WEDO will host Advocating at the intersection of women’s rights and environment during CSW61. The event will examine key challenges and opportunities, at the intersection of women’s rights and environment, for meeting the goals of the 2015 development agenda, including the Paris Climate Agreement. It will explore key concepts, latest policy research and new tools to track and transform implementation — to ensure we can keep the promises of a sustainable future for all. The event will discuss, in particular, the importance of / challenges to building power and shifting policy, at the global level, and how to ensure it’s being led by local, national and regional experiences.
