Disaggregated data—with respect to gender as well as across other aspects of identity—allows us to see the full picture of environmental impacts and climate change. It reveals inequalities and helps us craft better policy and implement solutions that are more just.
As part of our work to socialize the data that exists at the intersection of gender and environment, WEDO is excited to participate in the IWDA’s first Data for Gender Equality zine. Alongside several partner organizations working to provide inclusive data to accelerate progress towards gender equality, the zine features WEDO’s Gender Climate Tracker and the Gender and Environment Data Alliance(GEDA).
