Fireside Chat: Climate Finance and Gender Equality: Lessons for Sustainable Development

Join WEDO, WECF, & GGCA for a Fireside Chat to hear first hand experience from women leaders using gender mainstreaming and gender sensitive programming to address environment and energy issues in their countries. We’ll then have a number of respondents representing government and NGO open up the discussion by reviewing the examples highlighted.

Speakers include:

1)    Indira Shakya (ENERGIA) – Nepal Biogas Support Program

2)    Keti Kiria (Green Movement/Friends of the Earth Georgia, WECF) (10 minutes) –Georgia gender-sensitive training programs on solar collector – Microscale CDM Gold Standard Project and the start to develop a NAMA
