New York, May 17, 2010- WEDO was pleased to support the Rio +20 preparatory meeting, “New Foundations for the Future: Looking Ahead to Earth Summit 2012”, organized by Stakeholder Forum and the United Nations Non-Governmental Liaison Service (UN-NGLS).
The meeting brought together over 200 representatives of government, multilateral institutions, and civil society to elicit discussion and key messages for input into the first preparatory meeting of the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio +20) taking place this week at the UN Headquarters.
