Our Impact Strategy

The challenges we face, from climate breakdown to environmental injustice and rising inequality, are interconnected. They cannot be solved by isolated projects or siloed organizations. They require coordinated action, shared purpose, and collective power.
We exist to help build that power.

We know that no single organization can shift the systems that shape our lives. Grassroots leaders cannot influence global decisions alone. Feminist advocates cannot match entrenched political and economic interests without strong and strategic alliances. Funding for gender, climate, and environmental justice will never be enough if it remains fragmented or disconnected from systems change.

To transform power structures, financing models, and public narratives, we must move together with strategy, coordination, and clarity. We have a unique role in this work.

For 35 years, we have sustained collective advocacy that brings frontline expertise into global policy spaces.

We understand how multilateral systems operate: which rooms matter, who shapes decisions, how negotiations unfold, and what it takes to influence them. We share that knowledge not to hold power, but to democratize it.

Our impact strategy is grounded in three shifts.

  • We shift power by expanding who participates in global governance.
  • We shift money by resourcing gender-just solutions and advocating for financing systems rooted in justice.
  • We shift minds by transforming the narratives, data, and assumptions that shape environmental and climate policy.

We do this by building coalitions strong enough to challenge the status quo, supporting leaders whose communities are most affected, and connecting local realities to global decisions.

We believe impact is collective. Our role is to strengthen the ecosystem by expanding access, aligning movements, sharing knowledge, and creating conditions where collective action can thrive.

This is how change happens.
