Coalitions
Powerful coalitions are required to transform societies. If we are to shift power, money, and minds, we must continue to invest in and expand existing and strategic coalitions and build and fund new coalitions powerful enough to challenge and change the status quo. Only by working together can we transform the global order.

WEDO Co-led Global Advocacy Collectives
We convene, or co-convene, coalitions of aligned organizations, feminist leaders, and government representatives from around the world to advocate for policies that address different elements of the gender and environmental justice ecosystem.

We help convene the WGC — a platform for civil society and non-governmental organizations in women’s rights, gender justice, and environmental protection ecosystem to influence the annual conferences and help develop the UNFCCC. The constituency also ensures the participation and representation of these organizations.

The WMG is responsible for facilitating women’s civil society input into the policy space provided by the United Nations. It is self-organized and open to all interested organizations working to promote human rights-based sustainable development with a focus on women’s human rights, women’s empowerment, and gender equality.

Convened by WEDO and ActionAid, the WGSG is one of the 15 groups coordinated under the Stakeholder Engagement Mechanism to leverage the convening and advocacy powers of the Major Groups and other Stakeholders for the integration of disaster risk reduction into the broader 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
WEDO Co-Led Action Collectives
A care-centered world includes care for all. And it requires that we create change in every level of society — a gender-just climate transition, a gender-just energy transition, and a gender-just economy. We co-lead collectives to bring everyone with us into a just, equitable, healthy, and sustainable future.

Around the world, decision-makers are often unaware of or inadequately using existing data at the intersection of gender and environment. GEDA compiles, curates, and places this information into the hands of decision-makers working to advance climate- and gender-just environmental policy.

The Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights and Climate Justice Coalition is a network of more than 100 civil society organizations across 50+ countries, committed to collective action and coordinated advocacy to advance SRHR and gender equality in the context of climate change.
Additional Global Advocacy Collectives
In order to create the just, healthy, and equitable world we envision, we help facilitate collaboration among the people and organizations solving problems at global, national, and local levels.

The Green Climate Fund (GCF) observer network brings together civil society organizations, Indigenous Peoples, and local community organizations from both developing and developed countries observing the GCF. The network ensures that the voices of communities impacted by climate change are heard.

The CBD Women’s Caucus is a global coalition of individuals, community-based organizations, and civil society organizations advocating for and contributing to the implementation of the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity in a gender-responsive manner.

The WRC is a global coalition of more than 200 feminist organizations, networks, and collectives that advocates for gender equality within the UN Commission on the Status of Women, a global intergovernmental body dedicated to the promotion of women's equality, rights, and empowerment.
Strategic Alliances
We are an accessible, reliable, and trustworthy partner with social impact organizations, governments, intergovernmental organizations, and movement leaders, and serve as a source of reliable information for allies, partners, and governments.

GAGGA is a diverse network of women’s funds, environmental justice funds, NGOs, and women-led community-based organizations that secures women’s rights to water, food security, and a clean, healthy environment. Together, they influence decision makers to protect critical ecosystems.

The Global Partner Network for Feminist Foreign Policy works across government, civil society, and philanthropy to collectively strategize and advance feminist approaches to foreign policy.
