WEDO: Partnering on Climate Change

New York– WEDO, as a founding member of the Global Gender and Climate Alliance (GGCA) and coordinator of advocacy efforts at the UNFCCC, works closely with UN agencies, and other civil society organizations in our efforts to raise awareness on gender equality and the social dimensions of climate change. Below is an article by UNIFEM, now UN WOMEN, which highlights recent accomplishments at COP16 in Cancun–as well as a link to the Partnerships page on UN WOMEN which talks about the GGCA.
