As a global women’s advocacy organization, WEDO envisions a just world that promotes and protects human rights, gender equality and the integrity of the environment.

Today, April 22, WEDO celebrates Earth Day by joining with the millions of women and men around the world who share our vision – those working to secure a future for our planet.

This Earth Day, we’re celebrating with action!

Make a pledge to do something for our environment: join our partners at Earth Day Network in their A Billion Acts of Green® Campaign – the largest environmental service campaign in the world. Let’s get to one billion acts of environmental service before the UN Rio+20 Earth Summit in 2012!
