Global Policy

Overview

We work across climate, environment, sustainable development, and disaster risk reduction spaces to ensure global rules and institutions reflect the priorities of those most affected by environmental harm and gender inequality. 

From the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) to the SDGs and Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), we help shape processes, mandates, and outcomes that drive justice at scale.

Why Global Policy Matters

Global governance sets frameworks that help guide national policy, financing, and accountability. Yet these systems are often inaccessible and unrepresentative, reinforcing inequalities rather than addressing them. When those closest to environmental and gender injustice cannot meaningfully participate, the policies that emerge fail to meet real needs.

What We Do

Through our Global Policy work, we:

• Support governments, negotiators, and civil society in navigating UN climate and environmental processes
• Monitor and analyze negotiations across climate, biodiversity, disaster risk reduction (DRR), and development agendas
• Advocate for human rights, gender equality, and intersectional justice in global frameworks
• Track commitments and decision-making trends through accessible tools and data
• Create pathways for frontline voices to influence outcomes

• Engagement across UNFCCC negotiations on adaptation, finance, just transition, and capacity-building
• Coordination and policy input into SDG and High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) processes
• Advocacy within biodiversity frameworks and DRR agreements
