Movement Coordination & Infrastructure
Strengthening the networks and relationships that drive collective action.

Overview
We provide both the everyday infrastructure and the high-level political strategy that allow global movements to work together.
We support governance, communications, platforms, staffing, and convenings that keep coalitions organized, informed, and influential.
Why Movement Coordination & Infrastructure Matters
Collective action requires structure. Movements are powerful when they have reliable systems, meaningful participation, and trusted relationships with decision-makers. Without coordination, opportunities for influence are missed, and frontline expertise is overlooked.
What We Do
Through our Movement Coordination & Infrastructure work, we:
- Serve as Secretariat and coordinator for key global feminist networks
- Maintain communications platforms, websites, email lists, and governance systems
- Support strategic planning, and coalition-building processes
- Provide staffing and continuity for long-term movement spaces
- Convene ministers, negotiators, and champions to deepen alignment at political moments
Work to Date
Highlights of our Movement Coordination & Infrastructure work include:
- Secretariat and coordination support for the Women & Gender Constituency at the UNFCCC, the Women’s Major Group, and the DRR Stakeholder Group
- Backbone infrastructure for the Gender + Environment Data Alliance (GEDA)
- High-level convenings, including strategy dinners and dialogues alongside COPs
