WEDO and partners respond to Ambassador’s Report to the GA President on the issue of the Relationship between Member States and Non-Governmental Organizations.
The General Assembly should develop methods of NGO consultation that would ensure sustained and effective dialogue between member states and NGOs. This approach would build on the best practices of the past, notably the global and treaty conference preparatory committee meetings and similar settings.
