THE DETAILS

Panelists:

  • Henia Belalia, a French-Algerian native, is a land and community defender, educator, theater director, writer and daydreamer of collective liberation. • Angela Bartolome is a community organizer with AF3IRM for 11 years strong, a volunteer-based transnational women’s organization in the US, and a licensed clinical social worker. She is based in Los Angeles and utilizes her roles to combat issues for justice for transnational women, including im/migration, anti-human trafficking and anti-militarism. Angela and her AF3IRM sister’s have demonstrated their boots-on-the-ground activism in 9 chapters across the US.

Moderator:

  • Renee Juliene Karunungan or “Ayeen” is the Advocacy Director of Dakila and Outreach Manager for Climate Tracker. She fights for human rights and climate justice and is a staunch women’s rights advocate. Follow her on Twitter @rjkarunungan.
