Around the world, feminist and community-led organizations are advancing transformative solutions to the climate crisis.
From strengthening Indigenous women's leadership and protecting forests to advancing disability justice, climate finance accountability, and community-led adaptation, these organizations are demonstrating what gender-just climate action looks like in practice.
Yet despite their leadership and impact, grassroots organizations continue to face significant barriers to accessing the resources needed to sustain and expand their work.
We are proud to share the 2026 recipients of the Gender Just Climate Solutions (GJCS) Scale Fund, supporting feminist and community-led organizations working at the forefront of climate justice. The Scale Fund provides flexible, needs-driven funding to strengthen organizational capacities, expand effective approaches, and support the long-term sustainability of locally led climate solutions.
In 2026, the Scale Fund has redistributed $213,979 USD to 15 organizations across 13 countries, supporting initiatives that advance women's rights, strengthen community resilience, and challenge the structural inequalities driving the climate crisis.

Investing in Feminist Climate Solutions
Since 2021, the Gender Just Climate Solutions Scale Fund has redistributed more than $830,000 to 56 recipients across 33 countries, investing in organizations and movements advancing locally led responses to the climate crisis.
The Fund builds on the Women and Gender Constituency's Gender Just Climate Solutions initiative and responds to a fundamental challenge in global climate finance: while grassroots feminist organizations are leading innovative and effective climate solutions, the resources and decision-making power necessary to sustain their work remain deeply unequal.
By supporting organizational development, strategic planning, advocacy, learning, and the replication of effective approaches, the Scale Fund recognizes that scaling impact is not simply about growing projects. It is about strengthening the organizations, movements, and relationships that make lasting transformation possible.
Resourcing feminist climate solutions is an investment in the leadership, knowledge, and collective power of communities already building more just, equitable, and sustainable futures.
