Climate Change, UNFCCC, Women Delegates Fund7 / 25 / 2022
The 56th session of the subsidiary bodies (SB56) took place from 6 to 16 June 2022, at the World Convention Center Bonn, Germany. WEDO staff members were on the ground to provide technical analysis and capacity strengthening, as well as to lay a strong foundation toward COP27 with advocates from the Women & Gender Constituency (WGC).
In preparation for the Bonn Climate Conference, WEDO held its traditional Women Delegates Fund “Night School.”
WEDO was honored to co-host an informal dinner among National Gender & Climate Change Focal Points.
WEDO hosted an event to uplift initiatives to advance women’s leadership in climate diplomacy, launch new data on women’s participation in the UNFCCC, and honor outgoing UNFCCC Executive Secretary Patricia Espinosa.
